Blue Bird

On my way to work a few weeks back I saw a bird that looked brown and grey, but had a blue iridescence to it. I was inspired by this bird and had to create a look for it. I liked it so much that I wore it for about 3 days in a row. Yes, I repeat make up looks.

I am embarrassed to say that I did this look so long ago that I forgot what I even used on my eyes! I know I used the Urban Decay Naked pallet and I used Swimming Pool blue by Sephora. I guess I need to up load faster!!!

Dine and Ditch

Hello!!! The other day I was going to meet up with a friend in downtown SF, and I started doing some make up because I like to look good when I leave my house. But what what unexpected was that it looked so good! I thought I was going to do something quick and neutral, but inspiration strikes at the funniest times. So I ended up looking rather wonderful for a date with my friend. We went to Cheesecake Factory :) While we were there the couple next to us tried to dine and ditch. They did not succeed, but it was rather awkward sitting next to that.

Products used:
Too Faced e/s in Honey Pot on the lid
Tokidoki's Killer Candy in crease and blended up
Urban Decay's Smog on outer 1/3 of lid
Urban Decay's Sin on inner lid
Urban Decay's Darkhorse on outer lid and in crease, some smog in the crease too
a little bit of Too Faced Stiletto in the crease/very outer lid too really make it deep.
pat some more honey pot or Urban Decay's Half Baked in the center of the lid
Urban Decay's Virgin as highlight
lower lid is Smog with Killer Candy on top

Naked

A wonderful neutral look for days where you don't feel like wearing a ton of make up. Or looking like you aren't at least. I used just the Urban Decay Naked pallet for this look, and have done it with just one brush. You can use as many brushes as you want, but just know that it can be done with just one :) the one I used was a fluffy crease brush.

Products used:
Urban Decay Naked Pallet: I used almost every color!
   Sidecar all over lid
   Naked to blend out edges
   Virgin as highlight
a blend of Smog and Darkhorse in the outer lid. throw some in the crease too, just a little bit though! a very tiny hit of Creep in outer lid too to make it a little deeper.
Half Baked dabbed in the middle of the lid for some glimmer
Dragged the Smog/Darkhorse combo down onto lower lid too
Kat Von D liquid eyeliner
Bad Gal mascara from Benefit

I did this look on my best friend for a night out. She likes a more natural approach to make up than I do. But she loved it!! So this look is approved by dramatic make up lovers and simpler looks alike! universal look found!! score!

I took some photos of my day make up and even more exciting I went on vacation! But the thing about that is it was a music festival (Electric Daisy Carnival to be exact) and amazing make up is welcome there. This baby was 3 nights so I have 3 looks to show you from it!! I had a lot of fun doing my make up and even more fun at the event!! it was the craziest thing I have ever been to. A lovely reminder of why I love dance music so much!!

Jewels glued down with Duo lash glue

Pretty fun right!? and just for even more fun here's a picture of me and my boyfriend at the event!
Yes, I have butterflies flying around my head. How I did that was cut a circle piece of floral foam in half so you have a dome/half circle shape. then create a poof on the back/top of your head and stick the foam under it. It's light enough that it will stay up with bobby pins. I bought the butterflies attached to wire that are used in floral arrangements. Just cut the ends to different lengths and stick in the foam!
